ICOGRADA
Icograda is the world body for professional graphic
design and visual communication. It is the representative international
non-governmental organisation for graphic design,
unifying the voice of designers world-wide and promoting their dynamic role
in society and commerce. Founded in London
in 1963, Icograda has 200 Members (associations)
and numerous Friends in 67 countries world-wide, and holds consultative
status with UNESCO, UNIDO, ISO, and WIPO. For more information,

FRIENDS OF ICOGRADA
Founded in 1991, Friends of Icograda is a
world-wide network of individuals and corporations who share a common
interest in graphic design and visual communication. Anyone who wishes to
support Icograda and who agrees with Icograda's aims and values can become a Friend of Icograda on a contribution basis.

ICOGRADA EDUCATION NETWORK
Founded in Brno
in 2002, the Icograda Education Network (IEN)
brings together the world-wide community of graphic design educational
institutions - for exchange, sharing, collaboration, and advancement of
teaching methods and research opportunities. Participation is open to schools

ICOGRADA DESIGN MEDIA NETWORK
Founded in Istanbul in 2004, the Icograda Design
Media Network (IDMN) brings the world's design media together in an online
community a single, convenient source at http://www.media.icograda.net.
Formed by Icograda at the request of the
international design media, the IDMN is dedicated to establishing and
promoting standards and ethics in design journalism. It creates a forum for
sharing ideas and information, fostering discourse among participants and
with Icograda, and contributing to the furtherance
of a meaningful body of knowledge regarding design and the role that design
plays in modern society. Bona fide design media receive a free listing and a
website link, provided as a service to the international design community.

The Brno Biennale Association (Sdruzeni Bienale Brno - SBB/BBA) was a member organization of
the ICOGRADA as a representative of the UVU CR in 1994–2000, and it has been
the regular member of ICOGRADA since 2001.
